    You are joking, right?

Mark 15:26-32 And the inscription of His accusation was written above: THE KING OF THE JEWS. With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the transgressors.” And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, “Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, “save Yourself, and come down from the cross!” Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. “Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him.

The Scriptures let you know, that what the world thinks is a joke, we should be taking serious. When the world names anything or anyone jokingly, we will need to look at it, from God’s point of view. The fact that the world points it out as a joke, is the very fact you need to take a second look.

The world calls the Toilet the Throne as a joke, but it is a place that we all go daily, it is a place where we go alone. It is a place where we sit quietly or groan, but at the same time eliminate from our physical bodies the things we ate to nourish the flesh. And when we are through we take toilet paper which is ground up wood, just like the wood the cross was made of, and the wood that they raised Jesus up on to show the world He was not the KIng, and wipe away what is left, of what nourished our flesh.

The Throne room that we call a bathroom is where we all have common place. It could be a prayer closet. It is a place with a door, and a place we can meditate and pray, or groan in the spirit. It is time we all must take, and what we do there as we wait to eliminate is up to each individual. It is a joke to the world but so was Jesus being the King of the Jews. You can know longer say you have no time to pray because you must sit still sometime. And you know what? They call the toilet connection to the sewer pipe? A Closet flange. That is no Joke!

Sorry, I’m a little lost on this one. Are we supposed to reject the world for calling the toilet a throne or are we supposed to treat the toilet like a throne? Maybe it went over my head (a rare instance), but I just don’t see what I need to take in from this one. Maybe a little clarification?

It is funny how when something makes us the same in each other’s eyes and God’s eyes they are so hard to comprehend. But when you think your’s does not stink, that’s when trouble starts. Romans 12:3 Luke 18:9-14
