Would you cut off your nose to save your face?

Matthew 5:27-30 ”You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. “If your right eye causes you to sin. pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Galatians 5:24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If you are trying to live in this world without Jesus Christ as your confessed Savior. You have a mountain ahead of you that is to high to climb. The world will say “would you cut off your nose to spite your face.” And if you live in the flesh it would not make sense to cut off your nose because you were mad at your face. In the worlds way of thinking you put up with the bad so you can have the world’s goods. The world denies Christ at Christmas so as not to offend people, that they profit from in this world. The world’s way to cope with fleshly desires is put up with sin. It may be killing your body, but the world says it is worth it. The world says that the stress that comes with debt is worth it so you can have everything that the world says is just so. The world says if it feels good do it. No matter what comes after.

God says do as I say, so you will feel good. God says if you will do as I say I will give you the desires of your heart. God says; If you will recognize His Son Jesus Christ. The purpose He came to this earth, and walked in the flesh, and recognize Jesus was crucified with out cause so you could accept Him and His shed blood to make you righteous before the throne of God. Accept the fact that Jesus went to hell for you and took back the keys to the kingdom, from the devil. Now the parts of your body that led you to sin, that you should be removing and casting them from you, because you cannot control them. Those parts of your body have already been to hell as you accept Christ, when Jesus went on your behalf, and you accept the fact that He did.

The truth is this; with out Christ you will have to cut off parts of your body that you cannot control, to keep from sin and going to hell. But with Christ and your believing in Him and all that he came for, He has done it for you.

Accept Jesus and be as Christ like as you can, so you do not have to cut off any part of your body to be saved. Also so your mind may be renewed so you will not be world minded and do the things the world says you need to do, to have your life be what the world calls success.

Jesus has been to hell and taken the keys. This He did so you would not have to. Do not cut off your nose to save your face, or any part of your body.

Jesus has done it. Accept the fact.
