Why God?
Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, ”Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Have you ever asked God why about anything? God’s will is for His children to ask Him why. It is then He can tell us why so that we will know. The church for years has taught you to never ask God why, just deal with what you get, and know it is God’s will in your life. When in fact it may be what you are going through is not God’s will at all. And if you knew why, you would change it, or be more willing to stand in faith for it, when you find it is His will, if you knew why. God wants His children to know why about His will, but He wants them to believe in Him enough to ask. And when He tells you why, sometimes it hurts to know the reason.
We must become like little children and say,” Why Father? Why?” And He will tell us, if we are asking for the right reasons, and not selfish ones.
It is ok to ask God why, when you are His child.
