Why do the missing mean so much to God?
Luke 15:1-7 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” So He spoke this parable to them, saying: ”What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the ones which is lost until he finds it? “And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
When we accept Christ as our Savior we become a part of the Body of Christ. If there is any part missing, it is not complete. Some of the parts of the Body of Christ are still being defeated by the enemy, or they are lost, and God is waiting on the shepherds to seek and find them, and bring them to the fold once again.
What is missing in your life that is keeping you from being complete? God wants you to find it as much as you do. It is the devil that is keeping you from being complete, and giving God all the glory. It is the devils desire to keep you from becoming complete, and you can overcome him in Jesus name. If you will get out there and search for what you are missing, God will be sure you find it.
It is the missing piece that you need to search for, God will take care of what you have already found in His Sons name. And they will rejoice in heaven when you come back with them.
