Why did God love you, and why you should love Him?
Psalm 8:1-9 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that you visit him? For You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen– Even the beast of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
God created man, and gave him dominion over all of His creation. God gave that man and his children a free will so that man, and his children could choose whether or not to love God. Man chose to exercise his will against God’s will because satan deceived him, and led man to think there was something better than what God had to offer. And so life on earth became as it is today. But! God so loved this world and what He had created, and God knew that a free will could become a perfect will if given enough time. A perfect will out of a free will.
A Will that will come to God just because He is God and He alone is worthy of our praise.
God not only gave us a free will and dominion over all His creation, He gave us His only Son and the world crucified Him, something that had to happen so that we could over come this world with good. Through Faith in Jesus name. We could be more than conquers. And then we come to God not for something we need, not because we are afraid of satan, but because through faith in Jesus name we have resisted satan and he has fled from us. Through faith in Jesus’ name we have an ability to over come sickness and disease, so when we come to God it is not because we want Him to heal us. Through faith in Jesus name we become financially free so we do not come to God because we need money. And as we make our free will’s a perfect will by lining up with God’s word we have all the desires of our hearts, we will not come to God for any other desire other than Himself is what we desire.
Can you imagine being surrounded by people that love you because they love you, and not because they need you for one thing or another. And through faith in Jesus name they have over come evil with good?
Can you imagine the people that praise you because they want to, and not because they want your money. And through faith in Jesus name they are financially free?
Can you imagine the people that hang out with you because they want to, not because that they are afraid they might die if they do not do your will. And through faith in Jesus name they have over come the fear of death?
Can you imagine having to give your only son to a people that would sacrifice Him, so that they could overcome this world, and then, them not using the Power and Faith in His name to do so?
God has lined up with us. So we can and should line up with Him. It is a perfect love, because of a Perfect Love, we should give in return.
