When and where do I pray?
Matthew 6:5-8 ”And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. “and when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for there many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
You need to know that God loves when we talk to Him. No matter how small things seem to you , they are important to God. He loves the fact that you believe in Him so much and His Son Jesus, that you talk to Him about all your concerns. The scriptures let us know that we should pray in secret. How about that, say a prayer that only you and God hear and watch God in action. When you pray do not let a soul, other than yours, know what you prayed for. When you start to get answer after answer for these secret prayers, your faith becomes stronger and stronger. As your faith strengthens your feeling start to line up with your strengthen faith and that is the most reassuring feeling in the world. To know God is listening and answering your prayers, it will set you above your troubles. Not just some of them but all of them.
Pray in a prayer closet, be sure the door is shut before you start to pray. Do not let the world or any one in it know, what you are about to pray. If the world has any Idea what you are praying for, the doubt and unbelief that the world is full of will try to steal your answer. Your best friends will say are you sure, or where is your God with the answer to your prayer. This is the worlds thinking. If you keep the world from knowing what you are praying for, the world can not mess up your prayer. And by faith expect to see the answer to your prayer. You will, and your faith will strengthen, and you will know God and His Son are there in every move you make.
Pray in secret, in Jesus name, and Watch God work. He always does.
