What the world says? “vs” What God says?
The world says; Your enemy is another man?
God says; We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but we wrestle against spiritual host of wickedness in heavenly places.
The world says; You can analyze their urine and tell if they’re good?
God says; You will know them by their fruits.
The world says; If you get a degree you will have success?
God says; The wisdom of this world is foolishness to Him.
The world says; Both of you can work and hire a someone to watch your children?
God says; If they are not their own they will not treat them as they were.
The world says; it takes a village to raise a child?
God says; have faith in Jesus and what He died for, and you will have an abundant life,
The world says; Why does God allow it to happen?
God says; I gave them my only begotten Son and now He sits at My right hand until they take the power He has and do the works He did and make His enemies His foot stool.
The world says; take away all the evil in the world and, then when your children come to you, they will all be perfect?
God says; Allow the evil to remain, have them over come evil with good in Jesus name, and then when your children come to you they have taken their free will, and made it a perfect will, in Jesus name.
The world says; you can force someone to love you?
God says; In Jesus name they can love you, with out being forced.
The world says; you can get the same as God’s children, and you can get it now! just borrow the money?
God says; If you will seek me first, I will give you the desires of your heart, all your needs will be met, and you can have the things the world will use to control you.
The world says; There is strength in numbers?
God says; You! can do all things through Christ if you will allow Him to be your strength?
The world says; God wants to control your life?
God says; You have been given every thing to succeed, it is you that is in control.
The world says; Here is God’s treasure and there is not much to it?
God says; If you seek you will find God’s treasure, you will want to sell all you have to keep it.
The world says; God is trying to fence, or gate you in?
God says; The fence and the gate are to keep you out, what is inside is for His children and not the devil’s kids.
The world says; If God loves you where is He?
God says; I gave you My Son to show you how much I loved you. Will you accept Him? And over come this world in His name? Will you, with the faith in His name and the strength that He gives, do all you can to stand, and make your enemies which are His enemies, His footstool?
The world says; It must be God’s will because it happened?
God says; I gave my creation a free will, and the things that happen that are not My will, are because of the free will I gave them. I watched them crucify My Son as I lined My will up with the worlds, and I have raised Him from the dead, and He sits at My right hand, so the people that choose can come through Him to Me. And I will now watch the world line their will up with Mine through My Son. The same free will I gave man in the beginning will be the free will that will become a perfect will in Jesus name. I know what I Am doing. Trust Me!
What an amazing post…it says just about everything that needs to be said. It’s incredible how you managed to use your “The World” statements, because most of the people who reject God and Jesus Christ say these same things. They’ve been listening to the loudest, most absurd voice and they take it as truth. The real truth is not blaring in the background…it is waiting to be passed along in a calm, loving voice. This post is a good reminder of exactly what Christians need to be on the look out for, and what to respond with in kind.
