    What is sin?

    Genesis 3:4-5 Then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die.’” “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

    1 Corinthians 1:25-27 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

    Sin is anything that you do, and leave God and His Son out of it. Men and women have come to all kinds of conclusions as to what sin is. But when men or women tell you what sin is and you do not talk to God and know His Word, you could spend a life time not doing something that never was a sin against God but was a man made doctrine that fit their unbelief.

    Sin is when you allow an education to make you think that you know what is best and you leave Jesus out of any decision. The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. And if you are pursuing education to make your mark in the world, and you are counting on the wisdom you gain to be a success. God will use the weakness in the world to show you foolish.

    Even when Jesus walked among men, they were trying to tell Him what sin was. Imagine that?

    Do not let anyone, or anything in this world, decide for you what sin is. It could keep you from doing the will of God on the earth.

    Sin is, leaving God and His Son out of your life and its choices.

    Sin is, thinking you know better than God.

    Sin is, not thinking about God and His Son in all things.

    Sin is not always what man claims it is, so follow God in life and let Him be your level mark, not anyone or anything else.
