What is God asking you to do?
Luke 6:27-31 ”But I say to you who hear; Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, “bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. “To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also, And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. “Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. “And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
What is God asking you to do? Nothing He has not done for all He created since the beginning, and what He will do forever.
Christians can do these things, with the help of the Holy Spirit. As we grow in God’s word and we see the prize and what God offers everyone, we can put up with a lot, because it is then, we know He has done the same for us.
When we do not do these things, it is then, we know we have yet to see what is really ours.
God never ask you to do anything, He does not do Himself.
