Faith and believing in God through Jesus Christ has already been paid for. When Jesus died on the cross and His blood was shed for our sins, and He bore our sickness and disease on the cross, He paid the price in full. Now as we use our faith and believe in what God’s word says, we can do so knowing that the price has been paid.
Know this, that when you use the opposite of faith, which is fear, doubt, worry, greed, and unbelief, and you let the opposite of faith lead you, it will cost you. Because the devil is always looking for a way to devour you, and the things that are opposite of faith and believing are his lie to lead you a stray.
Faith and believing in God through His Son, is free for you because Jesus paid for them for you, and they work every time.
Fear, doubt, worry, greed, and unbelief, have not been paid for yet because the devil says they are not for sale. They work for him to well to want to sell them, but the devils time is almost up. And at his yard sale, his things will not be worth much.
I like the thought of the devil’s yard sale…All those tools (fear,greed,unbelief,etc) that he found so invaluable and that we once found so worrisome to us (and,yes, sometimes important too) just laying on a table with a sign marked $1 each and still nobody’s buying!
And if we won’t buy trouble and fear for $! each, why on Earth do we let the devil try to ‘give’ them to us at the price of our soul. Rebuke him with God’s word !
It paints quite the picture.
