Is your little boy, or girl, blue?
Hebrews 12:7-11 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of the spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seem best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
When Christians grow they learn day by day. Some are lazy and some are overbearing. Some think they know everything, and others are timid and are not willing to tell you anything, even if they know it is true. As we grow in the Lord we will see all kinds of Christians, that will need directions, and it does not matter who you are you, can become more Christ like. Our goal is to become more Christ like everyday. The Bible tells us this. It is what we should strive for. Unless you can memorize the Bible, there will be someone that will call you out, and say you are wrong in what you are saying and you will need to redirect, and repent and turn away. That someone that chastens you will need to use Scripture, and if scripture will not support his claim, you now become the chastener to support what you know.
Contrary to popular belief we will need to all come to the same mind in Christ. We will need to become on one accord and teach from the scriptures and think the same way, when it comes to God. We can have our own interest and desires individually, but when we come to Christ we will have to be like Him, He will not become like us. So Jesus becomes the level mark. We must build to Him. He is perfect and He is what you must conform to no matter what the world tells you is politically correct.
When we see other Christians that have missed the mark of the scripture, and they are not in line. Give them a question, have them search out the scriptures and study to show themselves approved. You do not need to argue. Just state the scripture, it will be up to them to change. It is not your job to force anything on anyone. If they say they would like to agree to disagree, and you have scripture to support your question, they disagree with God and not you. The main objective is, you are in line with the Bible, and your main desire is they are on the same accord as the rest of Christians. If they cry, so what, tell the truth always. It may hurt at first but the truth will make you and them free. If your intentions are true you will be pleased with the results.
Do not make God’s children blue.
Let me put it in words a small child will understand.
Little boy blue come blow your horn. The sheep are in the meadow, and the cows in the corn. Where is the little boy who looks after the sheep? Under the hay stack fast asleep. Will you wake him? No not I, for if I do he will surely cry.
The little boy was blue because no one cared enough to tell him he was not doing a shepherds job correctly. He did not have someone that cared enough to chasten him. How sad it is when no one cares enough to let the truth help another know salvation. When God chastens us He show us He love us. When we are truthful with others it shows we love them.
