Is sickness and disease God’s way of directing our lives, or His way of punishing us?
Matthew 4:24–Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
One of the purposes for Jesus walking on the earth was to allow us to see an example of God’s will in action. And this scripture lets us see without a doubt it is most certainly not God’s will for us to be sick or oppressed. If it was so , Jesus was not doing the will of the Father when He healed them all. What great news for us. God’s will is for us to be well, and as we reach that crossroads in life we now know what we can confess to be in line with God’s will.
