I asked God, what is alzhiemers? I know someone that I have done all I know to do to win their affection. And yet all my efforts have had little result. There is no reasoning with this person. I have tried to find what I think they might like and even if I know it is, they say it is not. This person has spent their life time, up to now, demanding their own way, and I have chosen after several attempts to argue with them, to let them have it. Nothing seems to get this persons attention. And yet I love them even when they do not know who I am. I can tell them I love them and show them I love them and shower them with gifts and flowers, and jewels, and it is as if I have done nothings for them. I am willing to do anything they ask and yet I know whatever I do will not be remembered five minutes from now. I have this love for them that will not leave despite all they do, not to receive it. I have never saw the world the way they see it, and what I knew to be true they would never make an attempt to know. I was in hopes some day that with prayer and faith I would win their affection and come as close to them as I wanted it to be, because I desire their love.
Now they have a clear sign of not knowing people they see everyday, their children and grandchildren have even become hard to remember. And yet they still make choices opposite of what I know they should be. What is this disease? And how can I overcome it? What is the secret to caring for someone that does not care if you do, and will not remember if you did. Will You help me understand this thing called alzhiemers? Show me the way to love them even if they do not care.
God told me; "It is what I do best, it is what love is, lining your will up with anothers even when it may not be what you want, and they probably will not know, but you do it for Me. Welcome to My Kingdom. Be patient you will receive your reward, and one day they will see and love you in return, trust Me."
