If you took all the money away, what would be left?
Matthew 22:19-21 “Show Me the tax money,” So they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them, ‘Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, Caesar’s.” And He said to them, ”Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s.”
If we took away all the things that we accomplished with money and called it a miracle, what would we have left.
If all we could claim as individuals and as the church, what we have gained from the Word of God, and through faith in Jesus name, and take away all we have gained with money what would be left as evidence of our faith.
We have used money to take the place of the power of God for so long we can hardly see the difference whether it is money or miracle. We have made a poor example for healing with money, but medicine is what we trust in, and rush to purchase, because their is no faith that is involved. And it is the world’s way of doing things.
God can and will work every where at any time, but we do not give Him anytime if we can purchase what we want, then money becomes our miracle that takes the place of God’s Word in our life.
When we use money to take the place of the miracle of God in our life, and then we need to use our faith for something money can not buy, our faith is so weak we can not heal a hang nail.
The church today is more interested in the world’s money than in what God’s Word can do.
If you do not believe it, take the money out of the church and all you will have left is a lot of sick people, that can not even feed the neighbors, not to mention the neighborhood.
Do not let money take God’s place in your life, it will let you down, when you need Him the most.
Give God credit for what you have done in His Son’s name. And what you have done with money will have to be credited to the world, because God gives you the power to get wealth, for the world’s things you may need, or desire, but not to take the place of faith in His Word.
And when you get to a place where money will not work, you will find out whether you have built your house on the rock or the sand. And all the money in the world will not stop the storm. But faith in Jesus name will allow you to stand, when money can not do a thing.
