Husbands; what does a submissive wife mean?

Colossians 3:18-19 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

1 Peter 3:7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Ephesians 5:22-24 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Proverbs 21:10 Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

What does it mean to have a submissive wife? It may mean more than you want to know. Are you a husband to a submissive wife? If it is so, you are blessed beyond your wildest dreams. You as a husband have all the responsibility, to your wife and family. They should look to you for all their needs. It is your job to see that you pray and hear from God. Are you trusting God for direction? You are the head of the wife. God is going to hold you responsible. You will need to be sure all their needs are met. You will need to be sure your wife has the desires of her heart. You will need to be sure all your children’s needs are met. I do not mean just material needs. You must meet every spiritual need. God sees you as the one in charge. You husbands are the head of your family. God sees you as the one highest in the chain of command, in your families spiritual life. When you read this, and go to the scriptures, and confirm this message, you husbands will need to step up and play your parts. Your wife is your helper. If she helps you that is great. If she does not, you are still the one God is coming to for answers when things go a stray.

God has told women to be submissive in the scriptures. Some men believe that they can use them for door mats. But let me tell you this; husbands will be held accountable, if they have a submissive wife or not. God will not want to hear you say I didn’t do thus and so, she wouldn’t let me. Husbands must line their wills up with God’s will. When this happens the wife can afford to trust her husband and be submissive. When we as husbands do God’s will our wives see that. When we treat them as ourselves and do our best to present them too ourselves, we get that glory.

We need to know that a submissive wife is what allows our prayers to be answered. When we marry God sees us as one. We will need to come to one accord. We need to be one minded when it comes to the things of God. If you know that you are in line with God’s will, you must stand your ground. Standing your ground. It does not mean, beating your wife into submission. You must give her the ability to exercise her free will. You must forgive her if she offends you. You must pray and trust in God in all that you may go through. Your prayers will get you through what you think is the roughest time in life.

Husbands, take this time to get right with God, accept His Son Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you have not already done so. Become filled with the Holy Spirit, it will give you the power you need to be the Head of the Household. If your wife is submissive thank God for that. If she is not Get ready for the Love of your life to be all you wanted her to be.

You as a husband will need to provide all the things, to your wife and children, so they have no excuses for not having success. Husbands do not give them one reason to come to you and say; I could not do something because you left me without a key ingredient that I need to be successful.

As God provides all things for us through His Son Jesus Christ. Pray and believe and stand on faith and know God will provide all you need. Then earnestly expect all good success, good reports, and all good news.

Husbands if you want a submissive wife, be a husband that is the head, and take your place. It is your part in life to be the head. Play it, and stop passing the buck.
