How great is your faith?
Matthew 8:5-13 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, ”I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. “For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, ”Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! “And I say to you that many will come from the east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. “But the sons of the kingdom will be cast into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, ”Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
This centurion knew the chain of command, and believed in the chain of command so much, Jesus marveled at him. Jesus with all the authority in the world marveled at this man. This centurion’s belief was focused on the chain of command, he was not intimidated by Jesus authority, but knew if he could get Jesus to just speak a word, to just give him an order and say, “Take this authority and go do it.,” the authority would be his and work where he needed it to.
This kind of faith is what we will need to have. This kind of belief in the authority in the chain of command, is what we need to come to a complete understanding of. When we understand this, we can take God’s word in Jesus name and speak God’s word in our lives and see results.
Let us come to this great of faith, and know that the words that Jesus spoke, are for us, if we will just believe, and act on them. We can go one step further than the centurion, we can have Jesus live in us by the Holy Spirit, and the words we speak, we can speak with authority, because He is in us, and on us, to the extent that we believe.

Thankyou,
