How does it look outside?

Matthew 6:22-23 ”The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

Matthew 23:24-28 ”Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. “Blind Pharisees, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

If you as a Christian can get the inside clean, then the outside will follow. To many people do all the work on the outside, for others to see and leave the inside, the part God looks at a mess. You need to know God sees both inside and outside. What is most important to God is what people cannot see. God wants you to be as good as you can on the inside, and let that shine through. So many people, every move they make is for the world to see. If you find yourself taking every step to please someone else, if you make a move in life so some one will love you, if you have the outside looking just so, and the inside of you is full of evil intentions, greed, and a desire to move ahead using someone else as a step. You will need to go back inside and get the part that is the most important to God, cleaned up, so the light that is in you can shine through. You can fool the world with the look on the outside, but you cannot fool God.

Let your outside be so bright from the inside light, that men see you from a distance.
