God wants to know; What did you just say with your mouth?
Matthew 12:34-37 ”Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. “ A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” But I say to you that every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 21:21-22 So Jesus answered and said to them, ”Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Matthew 7:7 ”Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Mark 11:23 ”For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea ,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
God wants to know what you are saying. Is He hearing you say you love and trust in Him? When life happens, is what you say words of faith? Or are the words you say doubt and unbelief?
When you look at the scriptures, and see that you will have what you say, it is about as simple as it gets. Do you need healing? Ask for it it is yours. Do you need salvation? Ask for it. Do you need to be forgiven of sins? Ask for it. Whatever you need, ask for it. Jesus said do it. It is okay to ask. Jesus has bought and paid for it on the cross. He took back the keys to this kingdom, that Adam gave up.
When we surround ourselves with God’s word, and pray, and believe, and trust by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. If your true desire is to know God’s word. He will not turn you away.
The things you say will reveal your true heart, and that is what God wants a true heart.
What are you saying? The scriptures tell us that what we say is what is in our heart abundantly. It is what we truly believe. What you say, is letting God know what you believe. And guess what, the things you are saying is letting others around you know what you believe. So before you say anything, think about it you may be giving yourself away.
What did you just say, God wants you to know every word that proceeds out of your mouth.
