Do you want to know a secret about the God you run from?

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.

Are you doing all you can, trying to stay away from God? Here is a secret that the evil in the world does not know; God is not chasing you, or anyone else.

God is the only living God, and His Son is the only Savior, and unless you come to God through Jesus, this world will overcome you. You have a free will, given to you in the beginning of time, by God. He will not take away your freedom to choose Him, and His Son. He will not chase you. If your decision is not to accept God, you can stand in one spot and do it. If there are people chasing you, trying to force you into loving the Almighty, they have yet to come into a full understanding of Christianity, and you can tell them so.

God is all you will ever need, and you can come to Him through Jesus Christ. He came so you can over come this world, and be saved. You do not need to catch Him, He is every where at all times, and it is Him you need to choose, with your free will.

You can stop running from God. He is not chasing you. If He was you couldn’t get away.

I was watching…I think it was Malcom in the MIddle, and the brothers on that show were selling things from the Church’s charity drive for cash for themselves. They had all the stuff they took in a van and they were taking it back when they were struck from behind by another vehicle. The youngest brother screamed:

    “IT’S GOD! HE FOUND US!”

I couldn’t stop laughing at that. I suppose it was the thought that God was “on the hunt”. A lot of people feel this way, I suppose. If we could only get everyone on Earth on this site, they’d see what its really about, though.
