Do you see the end near?
Psalm 91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with Him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”
2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
God gave Jesus to this world so those who believe in Him will be saved. Saved from what is coming. The end of the world as we know it, is coming. Those who do not believe in Jesus and confess Him as their savior, are going to wish they did. Those who have will be spectators only of the reward of the wicked. God sent His Son because He loved the world and, He knew you will need Him for salvation. When you come to the knowledge of God, you will need to see that Christ has already done His part. Jesus has paid the price, and you must by faith take hold of the gifts He as paid for. You find out what the gifts are when you study the word, and by faith believing, you stand on those promises. Say the 91 psalm and mean it, it is power filled. Make it personal when you say it, and believe every word.
The promises of God are ours when we dwell in Him by His Son Jesus. He will see us through the end times. What the world will know as the end, is going to be the beginning of the new earth and the new heavens for those who are saved. The world does not see the end is growing nearer everyday, but the believers can see it is getting closer.
Fear not if you dwell in the secret place of the most high. If you do not dwell there you better be moving in.
