Do you know who you are fighting with?
Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
What most Christians do not realize is who they are fighting against. You think you hate someone or they hate you, and they are the ones you need to over come, to have a better life. You spend countless hours trying to devise a way to get to someone, or to keep them from getting to you, and yet it still happens.
This world has you daily in a flesh and blood battle, and may the strongest person win. The world fights against drugs, pornography, drunk drivers and alcohol abuse. An untold amount of money has been spent to fight flesh and blood and its desires and yet the flesh and blood still seems to prevail.
The Bible is very clear about who your battle is against, and people are not the problem. As long as you fight the wrong enemy your battle will never be won. Unless you wrestle the enemy, you wrestle for the devil, and his desire to destroy humans, that get in his way.
People are not the enemy. The only thing left is in the spirit realm. Have you taken time to pray and ask God in Jesus name to help you and your earthly problems? If you have, are you standing in faith believing for your answer to come? Are you standing in faith when words are spoken, to tell you, it is just not so? Do you let people say things to talk you out of God’s promises?
Always remember, people are not the enemy. The words they speak are spirit, and God’s words are the sword of the Spirit, use them to fight the spiritual battle, and then you will see the battle won because that is when the flesh and blood will change.
Wrestle in the spirit realm with prayer and praise, if you want to see flesh and blood defeated.
