Did God give it to you, or did you bribe someone?

Isaiah 33:15-16 He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing bloodshed, And shuts his eye from seeing evil; He will dwell on high; His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; Bread will be given him, His water will be sure.

Proverbs 15:27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live.

Have you ever taken a bribe to speed up an answer to your prayer?

Because a bribe does every thing that God is against. When you give a bribe you are tempting people. God does not ever tempt, and there is no tempt in Him. So if you bribe some one you are tempting them, and that is not God’s will.

If you have ever taken a bribe you have not only given in to temptation, your action is allowing some one else to have more faith in power of money than in God and His Son.

If men can persuade you with money, the direction in your life is not going the way God is leading.

When you speak to God through His Son Jesus, and He answers you and you listen to what He says, you will have the desires of your heart.

Do not bribe anyone, and do not let anyone bribe you. Both actions will give you a false sense of security. Liken to; a house built on sand.

I’m not sure what you mean when you say about whether it is okay to take a bribe to speed up an answer to your prayer? Do you mean like the guy on TV that says if you send in $1000, your prayer will be answered or are you talking about maybe doing something (under the table- for lack of being able to find better words) after you’ve sent your prayer to God?

There are many people that the devil will tempt into taking a bribe and if they fall into temptation, satan’s temptation, it will keep them from the best God has for them.

This world will offer us things or money and it will give us a false sense of security. We become comfortable in what the world has to offer, and what God has for us, we may never see because satan has offered us a bribe and we took that instead of a good and perfect gift from above.

No amount of money will speed up the answer to God’s prayer in your life. If you believe you received it when you prayed, that is when the answer came. Now the devil steps in and offers a bribe and something far less than what God has for you. But because it looks a lot like what you want, or it is close to what you want, you take satan’s bribe. But you can be sure if you take satan’s bribe you will need to give him something in return.

Kind of like the world’s welfare system, you can have it, but when you take it, you limit yourself to that and become comfortable. It is a bribe from satan. It becomes hard for you to let that go, because you see it as security and the real security, the good and perfect gift, trusting in the power and promises that Jesus Christ offers by faith, you give up on.

The world’s bribe, is a choice we must have in order to exercise our free will.

The choices must always be present, because we have free will.

How to know which choice is God’s?

His answer to your prayer will not require oppression. God answers to your prayer will not require you stay sick, so that you can recieive His promise.

Jesus Christ came to this world so we could have life more abundantly.

Satan’s job is to offer you bribes. Give you other choices that will keep you from God best, and money is one of the things satan offers to keep your faith gears in neutral.

That explains why; the love of money is the root of evil.
