Changing my life on earth, could it be as easy as changing my confession?
“Proverbs 18:20-21–A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled, Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Confession is not always confessing sin, but every word we speak is a confession. What comes out of your mouth is what your heart is believing. So be sure to listen closely to the words you are saying. You may need to change what you confess or (say) to get your will lined up with God’s.
This is just one of many scriptures that give us direction on what we should be saying to line our will up with God’s will. Believe it or not all things that happen are not always God’s will. Our confessions will guide us in God’s will only if they are what Jesus would confess.
