First, I need to take this opportunity to thank everyone here at AT THE RIGHT HAND.NET for coming to The Wall. Our Saturday show went well, but I really would’ve wanted you to see the Sunday show. The whole play went off without a hitch and we had most of the cafeteria filled. While some of the students that came cared solely about the extra credit points that our coach (their teacher) offered, the majority of them came and told Chris and myself that they genuinely enjoyed the play. There were many tears and lessons learned, and when all was said and done we were happy with the end result. I think we really got through to people and showed exactly what Jesus had to suffer through for our sake.
That leads me into my point…as I came off of the stage for the Sunday show, I was speaking with a person from my church. They wondered how I could get into such a revolting character as the one I played. I told them “Now that I know what it’s like on the other side of God, I’m glad I’m on the side I chose.” I’m sure that, when given a side-by-side, most people would appreciate how their life with God is better than a life without Him. Praise God for good shows, thoughtful messages, and the life I’ve chosen.
