It’s a shame that the world shows us that to give, one must have less of something afterward. Or sacrifice something in order to give to someone else. We should give, but isn’t it great to know that by Christians being happy and healthy and blessing others with the out-pouring of gifts that were given to us for no reason other than the fact that God loved us.
Isn’t it great to know that by having a good, fulfilled, and happy life we glorify God. We do this by lining up the will in our life with God’s, not lining it up with what the world would have us.
The World wants to give us a hamburger, when God has a Filet Mignon, with all of the fixings sitting right there for us, and it glorifies him to pass up that hamburger and go for the Filet.
