Does God want us to be happy?

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good, like a medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.

If a merry heart does good like a medicine, why is it so hard for us to be happy as Christians. When we become believers, we come to know the word of God better and better. We desire it, and we eat it up. The true believer can not get enough of it. When we gain the wisdom of God, as we study the word, and come to a full understanding of the word. We will see when we put our will in line with God’s will, that is when the devil is trying his greatest work. Satan is going to do his best to see to it that you are not happy. Satan knows the written word of God, and Satan even knows that a merry heart does good like a medicine, and he will do his level best to steal your happiness from you.

Be sure you know that all Satan can do is attempt to steal your happiness. Lying is his favorite weapon of choice. Satan will try and make you think God is trying to make you a better person. As the devil is whipping you, and you believe God is the one whipping you, the devil has told you a lie and he is winning.

We as believers can resist him and he will flee from us. But first we must recognize satan for who he is. We must know that he came to steal, kill, and destroy.

With prayer and thanksgiving, we resist him. The word says he will flee from us. Do Not, let satan steal your happiness. Our happiness as believers, is from God and we need to let it be like medicine to us, as it is meant to be.

Do Not, let satan break your spirit. It can only be broken if we allow it. Know in your heart satan has no power over us.

Jesus Christ is Lord and He has the keys to the devil’s kingdom. He got them for us to use against the devil on his turf. So we as believers can resist him and he will flee.

Do not worry, be happy. As you resist and satan flees, the happiness is awesome.
