Why does God allow evil to exist?

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; “but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”

Take a close look at these scriptures and you will see that there were two trees in the garden of eden, one was the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and one was the tree of life. These were in addition to the trees that were for food. Only one tree was forbidden for food, but there are two trees. The tree of life is in the garden of eden and this tree is Jesus Christ in the flesh. The tree of knowledge of good and evil is satan and Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat of it. It was allowed to be in the garden of eden so man could practice his free will. If there is no evil present, free will would not work, because there is nothing to act your free will on. Now do you see why evil is not eliminated. Now let us shine Gods light on the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and expose it for what it has done. When Eve gave in to the temptation and convinced Adam to also take from it. They both exercised their free will. They both chose to eat from the tree so they would have the knowledge of good and evil. When they did this they chose the devil’s will. The devil wants you to know how good you have been and he wants you to know how bad you have been. When you know how good you have been you believe God owes you something. When you know how bad you have been you do not believe God could ever love you. This was satan’s plan.

God’s will was for Adam and Eve to live forever and never choose wrong. He wanted them to align their will with His will and when they did not, the devil took dominion of this earth. This earth realm became satan’s kingdom.

God wants you to accept His Son. He does not care how bad you have been and you cannot do enough good to ever deserve it.

Thank God there were two trees in the garden and Jesus Christ is the tree of life. I do not know about you but for a number of years I thought that there was just one tree in the garden of eden. But there are two and only one is forbidden. Now when you choose from the tree of life, which is Jesus Christ, you believe He came in the flesh, that He was Gods only begotten Son, you are choosing Him because you believe He died for your sins, you believe with His stripes you were healed, you believe He came for you to have life and have it abundantly, you believe He has made you more than a conqueror, you believe it, you speak what you believe and you come to a complete understanding of His will.

As you place all enemies under your stand, in this kingdom which is satan’s. and you turn to God, thank Him for all He has done through His Son Jesus Christ, and you tell God, you just love Him because He is almighty God.

Then God will have His will, through His Son Jesus Christ.

Now ask yourself this question. God allows evil to exist, but who allows it in their life, God or man.
