Why we must think alike when it comes to Jesus Christ?

Philippians 2;1-4 “Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for interest of others.”

1 Corinthians 15:25 “for He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.”

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we become a part of His body. That means that the enemy must be put under our feet as well. Is the enemy winning in any area of our lives?

Some believers in Jesus Christ have taken the scriptures and twisted them to fit their beliefs. So many churches have added to the scriptures or taken away from scriptures, to keep money in the church, to keep from turning away members, to save face in the community, and just to keep things the way they would like them to be.

Some churches have told us as believers that you must come to church to confess your sins. Some churches tell us we must be baptized in full submersion of water, other churches tell us that a sprinkling will do. Some churches tell us to praise a certain woman to be forgiven, others say praise a certain man, these people of course have lived a saintly life, but where is scripture found to support these practices?

The Bible is true, it is God’s word, Jesus is His Son, and it is the same always and cannot change. When we take the Bible for exactly what it says, believe in our hearts and confess it with our mouth it works without failure. Not just sometime, but for believers, every time. There are people that have come to one accord with the scriptures and are living lives as more than conquerors of any problem that may come up.

Believers must stop tip toeing around the Gospel and stand on it for all that it is. Because He came for our salvation, we must not go out of this life unsaved. Jesus came for us to have life abundantly. We as believers must settle for nothing less than abundant life. He bore our sickness and diseases on the cross, we must not go through this life sick. When our lives have anything bad that Jesus has freed us from by paying the ultimate price, we need to examine our own lives. Look at what we are missing, what are we believing, and most of all what are we saying. God’s word says we will speak with our mouth what we believe in our hearts, that is how we claim salvation. Every word we say is what we believe. LISTEN to what we are saying, and if it is not on one accord with God’s word, Change it . We must change because God will not, He is perfect and you cannot change perfect.

God will not change your will, to obtain His own Will.

You have been given a free will so you will come to Him because you want to; not for any other reason. If this were not so, everyone would be forced to come to God, and some would be coming not because they want to, but because they have no other option. God wants you to come to one accord with His Word, that is Jesus Christ, because you want to. He has paid the price. Take the gifts and use them all.

God does not give us the spirit of fear. But we will make decisions every day that are fear driven decisions. There is no faith in those decisions and without faith it is impossible to please God.

Believers will settle for less, thinking it must be God’s will in their life, because that is how their life is. But scripture will not support that. When we come to one accord with the scripture, with believing, with speaking, and doing it, our lives will line up with the scriptures as it should. Having fear is not on one accord with His word barely getting by and not having true success is not in line with God’s Word either. Let us line up with one accord and get this life in line with the way God intended it to have always been.
