Why would you let what you created fall in the wrong hands?

Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

If you could understand the Truth, why things are, the way they are, you might have more peace of mind? Like, why God would take what He created and put them in the hands of Satan.

What if in the begining, you had given your Word, your first begotten would inherit the earth, but you also knew you would never die. Wouldn’t you have to give what you created to someone that would?
