Have you ever given the Truth a place to stay?

Luke 9:58 And Jesus said to him, ”Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Do you allow the truth a place to stay in your life? The man told Jesus he would follow Him where ever He went. Jesus told him, “I have no place” Jesus was telling him that no one wants the truth to stay with them. You can ask the Truth to come and live in your life and He will. What happens when the Truth comes to visit ? He only stays if you want Him to. The Truth never will override your free will and stay, that would be possession, and that is the devils territory. The Truth has to be something you want to stay in your temple. Jesus was letting the man know, no one wanted to give the Truth a place in their life, so He had no place to stay.

Do you give the Truth a place in your life, or does the truth need to change if it is going to stay with you, so you do not have to?

If the Truth came to live with you, would He want to stay? Would He be comfortable at your house, or would the whispering, behind His back let Him know it was time to leave?
