Have you ever said, “This is not the path I’d choose, but I will walk with you.”?

Matthew 5:41-42”And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. “Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Every one has a path in life they choose to walk. Not everyone chooses the right path and all the talking in the world will not change their choice. It is then christians set the example for God. Even if it is not the path you would choose, God will tell your heart, “You need to go with them.” When you take this walk with them, even if it is not a path you would choose, you may be present if they choose to ask for understanding. You may also come to an understanding that you have yet to know. God works through people. It is you that gets to decide who those people will be. It is the ones that you walk with, even if their path is not the path you would choose, that can be the best teachers.

Just because you do not agree with the path some people take, does not mean God does not want you to go with them. If you will listen to your heart God just might be saying, “Go with them, to keep them from harm.” In doing so you might learn something about them and yourself you did not know.
