You might want to read; John 3:16 one more time?
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have ever lasting life.
For those of you that have read, and heard quoted John 3:16. It may have never come to your attention but it says God so loved the world. It does not say God loves the world.
The word love is past tense in the Scripture on purpose. It says loved and it does not say loves.
The meaning of love is; lining your will up with another’s and doing their will even if it is not your will. There is no other meaning for love. It is not hugging and kissing or any other emotional building action.
You can say you love someone but if you are not lining your will up with their will even if you do not want to, you are a hearer only and not a doer of the word.
The Scripture say loved because it was not God’s will being done on earth, when Jesus was crucified, but God lining His will up with the world’s even when He did not want to. God knew that after this act that the world would then need to love Him. His Son paid the ransom for all that would believe on His name.
God Loved the world. Now the world can believe on His Son and line their will up with God’s will. And that is the only way God’s will can continue on earth, by us lining our will up with His, or to say it another way, us Loving Him.
God loved the world He is finished lining His will up with the world. Now we will have to line our will up with His, or the world’s will. It is clear there are two different wills, or (loves) to choose from.
