Have you ever called things that be not as though they were?
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was also able to perform.
When God promises something, it is as good as done. And you need to believe by faith it is that way. You should say it is so, even if it you do not feel like it, even if you can not see it, even if you can not hear it, even if you can not taste it, even if you can not smell it.
If God says something about you, it is ok for you to call it as be not as though it were. Abraham, who is the father of faith, did exactly that. God told him He would make him a father of many nations. And from that time on, Abraham confessed what God’s promise was to HIm. No matter what he saw, No matter what he could touch. Abraham’s sense all said no, it would not happen, not to mention Sarah’s age. But he chose to believe in what God had told him. And no one could talk him out of it.
The Scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ went to the cross for our sins, and Jesus took stripes on His back so He could take away all sickness and disease, Jesus came so that we could have abundant life. This is a promise to those that believe in what He did for them. It is okay for you to act like it and confess it until, the senses get in line with your confession.
It is okay to confess God’s promises to His children, when you become His child.
It is okay to call those things, that be not, as though they were, IF, it is God’s promise to you.
And it is okay not to let your body tell you otherwise.
