Do people need a shaker of salt when you speak?
Matthew 5:13-16 ”You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt looses it flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
The Scriptures let us know, believers are the salt and light of the earth. When believers speak they should be convinced of what they believe, and what others see in them will let them believe in what they say.
So many people today say one thing and believe another, they need to carry a shaker of salt, so people can get something out of what they have said.
If you are a believer, you will say what you believe in your heart, and act on what you believe.
When you put salt on your food, you expect it to be salty. When you speak God’s word to others you should expect a change. If you believe in what you are saying.
