Why do pastors act like, we are in the land of OZ?

Colossians 2:8-9 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men, according to the basic principals of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality of power.

Why do some pastors, lead you to believe that it is them you need to receive your power from. That Christ will deliver His power to you through them, and then without them you can do nothing.

When they should be teaching the truth that will set you free, and release them from the burden of another man’s problems. If they would take the time to reassure you and teach you an understanding of Christ and God’s word. They would be set free and the ones looking for understanding would be set free as well.

Even in the land of OZ the wizard sent Dorothy and her friends to resist the evil and bring back the witch’s broom, thinking for sure they would not be back because of fear of the witch. As Dorothy was determined to get home she resisted the evil and came back, only to find the wizard was just a man, and her and her friends had the power, the courage, the heart, and the wisdom to achieve all their needs, desires, and protection, was in them.

They just needed to come to the understanding of it and they would be more than conquerors.

When Jesus comes to live in you, He is your hope of glory, He is your health, He is your Salvation, He is your wisdom, He is your example for life abundant life. And men that have an understanding of this should be enforcing these truths, and seeing signs of these people’s lives, becoming world over comers.

But yet so many are having you trust in them and their power, and making you think that Christ power comes through them instead of with in you.

God gave His Son so that through Him you could come directly to God and ask what you will. And pastors should be teaching you this, and not making you think you need them to achieve it.

This world needs pastors and teachers to teach God’s people about Him and His Son and the power that lies within them when they accept Jesus as their Savior.

Even Jesus told the people that were healed in His presence that it was their faith that made them whole.

Accept Jesus as your Savior and resist the devil in His name and He will flee from you. Believe that He is what is in you, and you will overcome this world, and God will get the Glory.

If any man lets you give Him the Glory, he is a wizard not God.
