Are you trying to prove God’s word right, or wrong?
Matthew 12:9-14 Now when He had departed from there, He went into their synagogue. And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”–that they might accuse Him. Then He said to them, ”What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? “Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” Then He said to the man, ”Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.
What are your intentions as you gain knowledge of God’s word? Do you want to find a loop hole? Are you hoping you can find some where, a contradiction in the word? God knows your every thought and you do not keep them secret from Him. I can tell you this God is good and His word is true, He loved His creation so much He gave His Son to save it. The ones that believe that, will be saved. The ones looking for a loop hole, I can promise you the devil will be sure you find it.
Always look to prove God right. When you look to prove God wrong, satan will blind you from the truth, by lying to you. He can not find a loop hole himself,, and he is running out of time.
