The devil has gifts, are you accepting them?
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.
Matthew 6:27 ”Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
James 4:6-7 But He gives more grace. Therefore he says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Some of the devils gifts are Fear, Doubt, Worry, and Pride fullness. They are the opposite of God’s gifts. Because the Scriptures say God did not give the spirit of fear, when you confess fear you accept the devils gift. Because the Scriptures say do not worry, and you confess you worry, you accept the devils gift. Because the Scriptures say, do not doubt, and you confess doubt, you accept another of the devils gifts. Because the Scriptures say, be humble, and you are ashamed to confess the Scriptures before men, you accept the devils gift of pride.
These confessions are you speaking what is the fullness of your heart. These sayings are what you believe. The things you are sayings are you, accepting the devils gifts.
Because the Scriptures say to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, what you are saying is what you are believing, and the gifts you are accepting.
Resist the devil by not confessing any of the devils gifts, that is when he will flee from you. When your confessions glorify God and Jesus Christ and your confessions claim God’s gifts through Jesus Christ, then you have a gift that keeps on giving.
Which gifts are you confessing in your life? It is the words that come from your mouth that claim them.
