Is it easier said than done?
Mark 11:22-23 So Jesus answered and said to them, ”Have faith in God. “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
Luke 6:45 ”A good man out of the good treasures of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasures of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Because you are in the world, the devil’s kingdom, the things you say about worldly things just roll right out of your mouth. You can speak of dreams and plans, tell people you love them, but when it comes to backing the checks your mouth wrote, the world makes it difficult, you will need to give up your wife, kids, and the dogs. You want to be a person that does what they say, but the things you have said, have waxed you in a corner. It is so easy to say, but the world makes it so hard to do.
You may be motor mouth when you talk about what you can do in the world, but when it comes to God and His Son, you clam right up. The devil will tie your tongue in a knot.
When it comes to accepting Jesus as your Savior. When the wolf is knocking at the door and you need money. When the doctor gives you a report that does not look good. Why is that? When you are confessing what the Scriptures say about you, the things you are saying are what you believe.HEY! If you cannot say the things about you the Scriptures say, maybe it is because you do not believe? The Scriptures say, if it is in abundance in your heart you will speak it. If you have trouble saying what the Scriptures say about you, you will need to put more Scriptures in.
Say, “Jesus come into my life.” Say, “thank You for forgiving me of my sin.” Say, “you love Him and believe in Him.” Say, “you will trust Him in your life.” Read God’s word and meditate on it. When you do these things you will find out, your faith will strengthen, and what you believe will start to be easy to say.
It is just as easily said as done, when you let God do it in Jesus Name. Believe it!
