Why is that scripture there?

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Do you feel like sometime you are the only one with the thoughts of confusion?

When you are following God’s word you will not fit this world. The people of this world will tell you everyday your nuts, if they talk to you at all. The people of the world that choose the world’s ways over God’s truth, will be at every angle you turn. You will feel that, you must be wrong because you just do not fit in with the crowd. You will seek help and the world’s way of help is to tell you, “yea you’re crazy but I can help you for a price.” The world says I have the answers you need and for a small fortune I can help you out. After years of the world’s help you do not feel any better than when you started. It is not in the world’s best interest for you to get better, there is no money in it.

This scripture 2 Timothy 1:7 is there to let you know, God did not give you the spirit of fear. God gives you the spirit of power and love and a sound mind. These things are what you should expect. The feelings of fear or doubt need to be brought under control by your thoughts and confessions. You need to take every thought captive and control it. You can do this by what you hear, and take control of what you hear. If it is not faith building turn it off. If you measure each word you hear from people up to the word of God, you will start to see, the same people that say you are crazy are the ones that are speaking fear doubt and unbelief.

Do not let this world make you think less of yourself than God does. The world will if you let it. If you are following God’s word, you will see that you are not crazy, the world is.
