Does the world have your treasure, or God?
Luke 4:18-19”The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Jesus came for anyone that will believe, the poor, broken hearted, and all that are in bondage. Jesus wants to open your eyes to the Christian world. He wants you to see the true treasure. You can be blind to reality and still be Christian. This world will keep you blinded. Satan will take what he THINKS you love the most, and try to control you. Satan will blind you and not let you see your true treasure. Satan will have you work for him and take the abundance you provide and just give you enough to keep you holding on. Satan ( the world) will rule you by, making you think you need everything he has to offer, as he keeps the abundance you make for the world from you.
Jesus came to open your eyes. To take the hood from your eyes. The hood that keeps you passive. Satan will allow you to work for him, and as you provide abundantly, take it from you and offer you what your blind eyes thinks is important. When you are a blinded Christian, you work with all diligence, and the world reaps your reward. When you are flesh minded, you look for rewards of the flesh. The things that give you a safe feeling, a secure feeling, a feeling of strength, a feeling of belonging to something where someone worldly will love you, for all your good works. When you owe your soul to the company store. When you are in debt to your eyeballs. You feel there is no way out but to work three jobs and all the hours you can. You become a slave to the world. And satan will love it, when he knows this is how you are believing. If satan can control all your time there will be none left for God.
When you let Jesus open your eyes you will see that this is so. Then satan has something to worry about. When you start to see the things God wants you to see. You will notice how the world loves for you to be in debt. The world loves when sickness keeps you oppressed. The world loves for you to think money is the only key to being happy. Then it will only give you enough to stay in debt, and never enough to get out. It will give you medicine to treat a illness but the world has nothing to offer for a cure. If the world knows you have fear because you do not believe the promises of God, it will keep you just fearful enough to work for the world, but never enough courage to over come the fear. Satan will hate the day your eyes are opened, because you will see you need God and your treasure is in Him and His Son, not in the world. If you were to ever get fat and happy the world will not have you to count on, so the world just gives you enough so you will perform each day. When the world finds that money is not your drive it will give you what it thinks you love. The world will reap your promises of God as it finds out what you are blind to, or what you love the most. But thank God that through His Son Jesus we have our eyes opened and we can see the world’s ways.
Never let anyone allow you to think they have you under thumb. When your eyes are on the true provider of all Christians. You will never be blind to the worlds tactics.
As the world is taking the fruits of your labor for their benefits, and giving you just enough in return to keep your eyes focused on the world, if the world has you blinded and you have not accepted God as your provider, through His Son Jesus. I strongly suggest you do.
God Gave His Son Jesus Christ. And as you accept Him and believe. It gets better everyday. The world will give you only what it must to keep you blinded. God will give according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
