Do you see the signs?

Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, ”Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. “And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Now do not get all freaked out. No one is telling you to drink poison, or play with snakes. this is to let you know, where ever you go as a Christian God will protect you. There will be people that wish you where dead. Some may even go to the extent of trying to poison you. If this world has them all wrapped up in riches. You will be walking on some rough terrain when stepping on their financial practices. When men trust in riches and you address them with the truth they may very well like to see you dead. But the scriptures tell us that, a sign that follows believers is, poison will not slow us down. That is to say that if by accident you where to ingest some it will not hurt you. Do Not Tempt God, by drinking poison! Do Not Tempt God and play with poisonous snakes! If you are in the wilderness and a snake bites you, do not worry. If you are playing with a snake that you know is poisonous and it bites you. Do not blame God if you die. These are not signs to tempt God. They are signs of protection that follow those that believe.

In Jesus name you should be able to cast out demons. If someone you know is tormented by demons, if they are miserable to be around, if they shy away from God’s word. If they find it hard to get along with other Christians. They are tormented and you should see signs of this going away as you bind and cast out the tormenting spirits.

You should see signs of people being healed. As a believer you should see these signs. You should lay hands on the sick and they will recover. If you do not see these signs in your church group, if the minister does not believe in this, if the people that teach you do not practice and believe this you need to look for it. It is something that is evidence of believing in Jesus name.

When you believe in Jesus name, and are filled with the Holy Spirit. You will speak in tongues. This will edify your own body. This will give you the ability to pray for others in a way that you do not know what to pray for. When you can get a grasp of this, being filled with the Holy Spirit, when your faith grows to this level you will see a power in your life that is undeniable.

Do not confuse these signs with, signs of the second coming, The Bible tells us no one knows this time except God. and no sign will be given. You need to accept Jesus as your Savior because you believe and love Him. Not because you are in fear and you think the time is near.
