Is what your seeing all that is there?

2 Kings 6:15-18 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots, And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “ Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

John 12:37 But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Something we as Christians need to know. If we walk inline with the will of God, if we seek his wisdom and gain understanding of that wisdom. We will be led through life. God will guide us as we trust in Him. At times it may seem that God has his chosen few and the rest of us are just bystanders. The Bible tells us that if we seek God first. We will have all of our needs and desires met. As we seek God, our eyes will be opened and our ears also.

We must diligently study and rightly divide the word of God. It is a mystery to people that do not seek it. When we seek God through His Son Jesus Christ. We get to see things other people do not. Just like Elisha could see all God’s army on the mountain, that was to protect them. They were there even though his young servant could not see them. Elisha being a man of God could see them.

Jesus did miracle after miracle, He spoke to them everyday and revealed signs and wonders. But the people, just could not comprehend what He was all about. Most of them were rich and religious and set in their ways. They did not want any body interfering with what they had going. They were driven by money and tradition, but their intentions were evil, not Godly. The rulers and the towns people chose to crucify Him for no reason at all. He was not guilty of anything. But He was against their traditions and they found Him guilty. Even the thieves on the cross new He was not guilty of anything. Their eyes were open.

The people that crucified Jesus where blinded. Their refusal to see the truth made them blind. Jesus told them that in His ministry. God used their greed to His advantage. God knows all and He knew that they would crucify Jesus without cause. Jesus crucifixion had to happen so God could save the world from satan power, through His Son Jesus.

The blindness and deafness of people today is still amazing. This whole world goes by a chronological order. A dating system that Is base on Christ death. When we put a date on anything, check, letters, Bank notes, anything that is dated is using the number added to the day of Christ death. This is not just by chance.

Are you seeking God through His Son? Are your eyes open to the spirit realm? God will open them for you, just ask in His Sons Name, accept Him as the Savior of the world, confess your sins.

Do not let this world blind you. It will, if you get caught up in it. If you start to trust in the riches of this world, you will be blinded. If you get in the flow of the crowd, and that crowd is not trusting in Jesus, you will be blinded. The only way you will see what God has for you is to seek God through His Son. Let your eyes be opened.
