You are right. Judas knew what power Jesus had and he knew God would forgive. He just couldn’t accept the forgiveness. There are many people out there that know God is a forgiving God, they just think they have to make things “right” before they come to him. They just cannot believe it is as simple as asking forgiveness and believe you receive.
