I believe as we seek God’s Truth with Understanding of His enemies, the rest will be easy. I also believe that Example is the best teacher, and it is what I look for in others, and do my best to be for them. I wonder if they notice my example, because I notice theirs.

Example#1 ; We attended an Oyster Festival in Urbanna Va, where they have local foods prepared by vendors and they would hand out samples to spark you appetite. One vendor was handing out samples of freshly made pork rinds. This is the skin off a pig, deep fried until crispy and salted. This person walking by wanted to try a sample and they loved its taste and were about to make the purchase, but their honest concern was whether or not, it was fried in animal fat or vegetable oil. This person had taken all the hype in the media about Cholesterol and fats, and oils, and fried foods. And with all the information, they were doing their best to make a educated decision. They knew what they tasted was good, but was it good for them? Was it prepared in a way that was what they had been taught was healthly? They were chewing and swallowing the deep fried skin off a pig. And they loved its flavor. And they had put it in their mouth not knowing what it was. And it was good. Did it matter if it was fried in the fat they were eating? Would the type of oil it was cooked in changed their mind?

We try and take what the world gives us, and make an educated decision, without understanding God’s enemies. The trouble with the world’s truth it changes. The Truth about pig skins, No matter what they’re fried in, they are still pig skins, that will never change.

Example #2; This person had taken a lesson the world had taught them, and without Truth, or understanding of God’s enemies, made a decision they thought was going to save them money. They had been told that there was so many miles on their trade in vehicle it wasn’t worth near what they wanted. They were going to see that never happen to them again. They took the brand new car they had just purchased and set it in the drive way, and purchased an old car they could care less about, and drove it to save miles on the new one. So that it would be worth more when they traded it in. Now the Truth that is left out of this decision, has got to be denied. Because it is present but ignored. The value that you loose on a vehicle that has high mileage is nothing, compared to the Truth in the number of dollars it cost you to purchase another car, taxes, tages, and insurance. This person was so sure of their decision you could not talk them out of it. And the Truth they had to make a choice to ignore was ovewhelming.
And yet it was as if they were blinded and refused to see the truth in anything. They had become overcome with the world’s wisdom and it had left them with out Truth or understanding, and replaced it with education. Their decision was the world’s way of doing things, and it would never add up in their favor and that is the Truth.
