The trouble with idle words is the people that speak them think all words are idle.

In reality, all words have meaning. All words cause direction.

When we sit and listen to words each day spoken by people, we can get direction but we also see the direction of the people that speak them. Some people say what they do not believe, and these people think that the words that other people say are idle as well.

If we will use our words in truth they will give direction toward God. If the words we speak, we do not believe have power or are not true, they will give direction away from God. Every word has meaning and gives direction, no matter whether we believe it or not. There are no idle words. Every word spoken will have to be accounted for, because they are valuable to God.

An idle word, or word, that has been spoken, that is not true, from the one speaking it, will be held accountable.

Do you believe what you say, or are you just saying it, thinking it does not matter does not change the power of it. It just gives you something else to be accountable for.

If you do not mean it, do not say it!

All words give direction, either to or away from God. Be sure what you say is true.
