This is a question that everyone should be asking themselves “Am I doing everything I can do, to show God and His Son Jesus that I love them?” You can pray everyday and give thanks. But is it enough?

You say that you would do any thing, to show God and His Son that you love them. But when something comes up, that you really want to do, God is the first thing that you push aside to a later date or time.

    Here think on this.

    1. You travel a long distance to buy a good car, but don’t have the time for God?
    2. You travel a long distance to get something good to eat, but don’t have time for God?
    3. You travel a long distance to get a part for your car, but don’t have time for God?
    4. You hang out with friends untill late a night, but don’t have time for God?
    5. You travel a long distance to catch the biggest fish, but don’t have time for God?

I am not saying not to do these things, but just think about the things you do, instead of going the distance for God. He gave His only Son Jesus for us. What more could you ask of Him? But people are still willing to go the distance , and stay up late for worldly things. When God and His Son Jesus should be the first thing on your list.

Tom, you’re speaking the truth. I thought back after I read this message about all the times I had gained things from God and all the times I missed the opportunity to repay his goodness in my deed. Most every Christian, new, old, or otherwise, has come across this; we take and take and we don’t repay, even with the knowledge of what was paid for us.

Since the site started, i’ve been a little more eager to show God’s goodness with each day’s worth of scripture and lessons. Let’s hope that the word gets around and more people see the way to go.

Ask not what God can do for you; ask what you can do for GOD!
