Is it Caesar’s or God’s?

When the Israelites where led into the wilderness, they had brought with them, their gold. They had no place for this gold to be of any use in the wilderness. This gold that had set them in order in Egypt and gave them value, did not have the same effect, when put in a place where God had led them. They were led into a place where they had to count on God for their miracles. There belief in God was what was going to see them through. Their gold was useless. They decided while Moses had gone to receive the ten commandments, to take their gold and build themselves a god to worship, something they could see to worship and pray to. Something that would give the gold value once again. After all, if god was made of gold and you had alot of gold, then you would have the most to offer to god. And whoever had the most to offer to god, and could be identified, would be the most important man on earth.

Today it is what organized religion has come to. There are some ministries today that will even make you an elect member if you can give X# of dollars. You may even get to shake hands and meet the minister, if you have enough to offer. Ministries today have taken the multitudes money and call it a miracle from God. And in turn taken the wealthest of people and given them a place that they think is closer to God.

The ministries of today have placed more value on cash than God’s Word. They have even gone as far as to say that money is seed, which has given it the same value as Jesus. The Scriptures say that Jesus was the Word and the Word of God is the seed of God. There is not one Scripture that leads us to believe or even come close to believing that money is Seed and yet, ministries today make you one of god’s elect if you can meet the seed planting goal. After all they call themselves good ground for planting?

Jesus calls what you give to a ministry, charity and Jesus say’s it should be done in such away that your left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Meaning keeping it a sercret, so you know when you receive a blessing for your charity, that you were led to give, is from God and not man.

The world’s charities have the multitude offer to them for free many donations, money, labor, and material things. The world’s charities in turn do their best to turn the things that are given to them for free, into cash. They are more than happy to give you a soap box to announce the charity amount you have given. And give you a tax receipt so that Caesar can know where his money is going.

Much like the ministries of today, receiving from God what is free and placing it in a enviroment where you must return to them to get it. Or place God’s message on tape or cd, and for a price take it with you. They will even go as far to say, “If you will give us your prayer request we will pray for you.” After all, if they were to let you know, God will hear your heart felt prayer, in Jesus name, as much as theirs, you might not need to return.

Jesus came to the earth to set you free, so that you could have abundant life, so that you could come boldly to the throne of God in His name and ask what you will, in line with His will and receive it. Jesus came so, you could see the difference in what was Caesar’s and what was God’s.

If you have a ministry, or know someone that does. Be sure they know the difference between Caesar’s money and God’s miracles. It could mean the difference between them hearing God saying, “I never knew you.” and, ‘Well done! good and faithful servant,” when Jesus returns. And Jesus, is not, coming back, because the churches are doing what God’s will is, according to the Scriptures.

The pyramids were not left for us to see how things should be to last forever. But so we would know the multitude were not meant to support the ones on top.

The true foundation that will last forever, is to start with Jesus as the foundation, and then teach each idividual how to build on that. It is then they can support their own weight, and the pyramid can be built upside down. Not possible you say? All things are possible with God. Diamonds are most brilliant when viewed fat side up.
