If you had led a child to trust you, and you failed them…

would you confess to them your failure, and ask for forgiveness?

Would you pretend you never failed them, and let them try to find another to trust in?

If the Truth would set you both free, would you trust Him in you?

What if the power of the Truth could never be understood?

What if a lie made it look like the Truth was beneath you, but the signs that followed gave the lie away?

Could anyone ever just pretend to know the will of God?
