He never said what to do? He led by example?

One had to want to know and observe his every move, to see what that example may be?

He seem to always catch the big fish of the day, even if it was at the last minute?

He and Billy would be catching the big fish when all the others reeled in the small ones?

    What was his secret?

    Did he even know?

I never told him, but I watch closely?

What was it he did, that was different than the rest?

I pulled our boat beside his as if to chat, but really to observe, what was it that he did so differently?

Billy seemed to know but he was not telling?

It is when I noticed, they just kept reeling?

    He never set the hook?

    Could that have been it?

    Did they even know?

I will give it a try?

It is not easy not to jerk when you feel the bite, it is what you are taught to do?

But not for the big fish, you have to let them hook themselves?

The little fish will let the big fish know, is what your after real?

When the big fish see the hook being set as the little fish bite, they know not to bite?

So how do you catch the big fish?

Just keep reeling and never set the hook, let them hook themselves?

I  am not sure if he ever knew I was watching, but it is what I noticed, and decided to try for myself?

It will work, if you can keep from setting the hook, that is the part that is not easy?

After all it is what we are condition to do, set the hook if you want a fish?

Let them hook themselves and you will get the big fish.

Just keep reeling, let them close the deal!

For now I will just keep reeling, and looking for a better example to live my life by?

If I am to find it, and I know it, I will let you know?

    Until then just keep reeling?

I thank God I had a chance to know you, Jim Mayes , in Jesus name I pray, Amen
