Thanks, you guys. I appreciate the definitions, examples and understanding. It’s ironic – not, really, we know why it happens – that you started with the division of the Bible into Old and New Testaments. Even as a small child, I thought the New Testament God was a kinder, gentler One. When Alicia was born I surmised that maybe becoming a parent mellowed Him!!!!
